The MHD Flasher for BMW E-Series N54 models is a complete ECU flash tuning solution designed to unlock the full performance potential of your engine. Unlike piggyback tuning systems, MHD performs full DME (ECU) remapping while retaining all OEM safety strategies. This ensures improved power delivery, reliability, and smooth drivability.
Installation is simple using a compatible smartphone. Download the MHD Flasher app, connect via the MHD Wireless Adapter to your iOS or Android device and your vehicle’s OBD-II port, and begin the process. Initial installation typically takes around 15 minutes, with subsequent map changes completed in approximately 60 seconds. The vehicle can be reverted to factory software at any time, with no initial backup required.
Flasher License:
The Flasher License enables full ECU flashing functionality using MHD, including support for OTS maps, JB4 backend maps, and custom tuning files.

Monitor License:
Monitor engine performance in real time using a configurable interface with up to 8 gauges displayed simultaneously. Over 50 engine parameters can be viewed and logged in the background. Logs can be saved as CSV files for further analysis using the built-in log viewer. Log review support is also available.
Available parameters include:
Boost, boost target, AFR (lambda), intake air temperature, ignition timing per cylinder, coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, transmission temperature, HPFP, throttle position, wastegate duty cycle, RPM, speed, EGT and more. Advanced parameters such as timing corrections, boost targets, and torque limits may also be available depending on ECU software.
All MHD OTS Maps by Wedge Performance:
A wide range of OTS maps is included for the N54 engine, suitable for different hardware setups and fuel types. These maps have been extensively tested on both road and dyno.
- Stage 1 (up to 360HP/520NM) - 91oct/95ron, 93oct/98ron, 95oct/102ron, for stock cars.
- Stage 1+ (up to 390HP/600NM) - 91oct/95ron, 93oct/98ron, 95oct/102ron, FMIC recommended.
- Stage 2 (up to 380HP/560NM) - 91oct/95ron, 93oct/98ron, 95oct/102ron, high-flow downpipes recommended.
- Stage 2+ (up to 420HP/650NM) - 91oct/95ron, 93oct/98ron, 95oct/102ron, high-flow downpipes + FMIC recommended.
- Ethanol Mix Maps: Stage 1, 1+, 2 and 2+ E30+ Maps for ethanol blends of 30%+
