The MHD Flasher for BMW N55 E-Series is a complete ECU flash tuning solution designed specifically for N55-powered BMW models. Unlike traditional piggyback tuning systems, this platform enables full DME (ECU) remapping while retaining all factory safety strategies. This delivers increased power, improved throttle response, and smooth drivability without compromising engine reliability.

The MHD system can be set up using a compatible mobile device, allowing convenient tuning directly via your vehicle’s OBD2 port. Once connected using a supported adapter, the initial installation process typically takes only a few minutes. Subsequent map changes are significantly faster, allowing you to switch calibrations quickly. The vehicle can also be reverted back to the original factory software at any time.

The Super License includes all available MHD features in one complete package (Flasher, Monitor and all OTS map packs included).

Flasher License:
The flasher functionality enables full ECU calibration control using the MHD platform, supporting OTS maps, custom maps, and backend tuning configurations.

MHD+:

The MHD+ upgrade unlocks advanced performance features and extended tuning capabilities.

1. On-the-Fly Map Switching:
   Allows up to 4 selectable map slots within the same stage, enabling quick switching between different fuel types such as pump fuel or ethanol blends (e.g. E30). Each map slot can also be configured with adjustable power output, making it ideal for reduced power or valet-style settings. Power levels can be scaled from 100% down to 50%.
2. Antilag:
   Allows rapid boost build-up while limiting acceleration, improving launch performance. Activation is controlled via steering wheel or cruise control inputs combined with throttle application. Built-in safety features include temperature monitoring, usage limits, and cooldown periods.
3. Switchable Burble per Map Slot:
   Customise exhaust burble behaviour individually for each map slot, including duration and aggressiveness.
4. On-The-Fly Exhaust Flap Control:
   Control exhaust valve operation with options for open, closed, or OEM settings.
5. Ethanol Content Display:
   Displays real-time ethanol content when used with a compatible ethanol sensor.
6. Motiv ReFlex Integration:
   Provides full CANBUS integration for advanced control features, including safety strategies and external wastegate control.
7. Overrun “Brap” Sound:
   Enhances exhaust sound during throttle lift for a more aggressive driving experience.
8. No Lift Shift (Manual Vehicles):
   Enables full throttle gear changes without lifting off the accelerator, maintaining boost between shifts for improved acceleration.
9. Port Injection Safety (PI Safety):
   Adds an extra layer of protection by preventing ignition in cylinders where fuel is cut, reducing the risk of lean conditions when running supplementary fueling systems.

Monitor License:
Monitor engine performance in real time using a configurable interface with up to 8 gauges displayed simultaneously. Over 50 engine parameters can be viewed and logged for detailed analysis. Data logging can be saved and reviewed using built-in tools, making it ideal for diagnostics and performance tuning.

Available parameters include:
Boost pressure, boost target, AFR (lambda), intake air temperature, ignition timing per cylinder, coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, transmission temperature, HPFP, throttle position, wastegate duty cycle, RPM, speed, EGT and more. Advanced parameters such as timing corrections, torque limits, and boost targets may also be available depending on ECU software.

All MHD OTS Maps included:
A full range of OTS performance maps is included, developed specifically for BMW N55 E series engines across various hardware setups and fuel types. These maps have been extensively tested under real-world and dyno conditions.

• Stage 1+ (up to approx. 350HP / 590NM) – upgraded intercooler recommended
