MHD Tuning Super License for BMW S58 WITH MHD adapter – Full Tuning Bundle | Flasher, Maps & Monitor

The MHD Flasher for BMW S58 (F & G Series) is a complete ECU flash tuning solution designed to unlock maximum performance while maintaining all OEM safety systems. Unlike piggyback modules, MHD performs full DME (ECU) remapping, delivering improved power, efficiency, and drivability without compromising reliability.

Installation is straightforward using a compatible smartphone. Download the MHD Flasher app, connect via the MHD Wireless Adapter to your iOS or Android device and your vehicle’s OBD-II port, and begin the process. Initial installation typically takes around 3.5 minutes, with subsequent map changes completed in approximately 20 seconds. The vehicle can be returned to factory software at any time, with no initial backup required.

The Super Licence includes all available MHD functionality in one complete package (Flasher, Monitor and all OTS map packs included).

Flasher License:
The Flasher License enables full ECU flashing capability using MHD, including OTS maps, JB4 backend maps, and custom tuning files.

MHD+ Custom Code:
MHD+ unlocks advanced custom code and next-level tuning features.

1. On-the-Fly Map Switching:
   Allows selection of up to 4 map slots within the same stage for different fuel types (pump fuel or ethanol blends such as E30). Each map slot can also be configured with adjustable power output, allowing reduced power or valet-style driving. Power can be scaled from 100% down to 60%.
2. Antilag:
   Build boost rapidly while limiting acceleration. Activated via cruise control speed-down input combined with throttle. Integrated safety systems include coolant temperature monitoring, EGT limits, usage duration limits, and cooldown periods. Adjustable boost targets are available depending on setup.
3. Switchable Burble per Map Slot:
   Individually configure burble behaviour for each map slot.
4. On-The-Fly Exhaust Flap Control:
   Control exhaust valves between open, closed (opens under load), or OEM operation.
5. Ethanol Content Quick View:
   Displays real-time ethanol content when used with a compatible sensor.
6. Advanced Motiv ReFlex Integration:
   Full 2-way CANBUS integration enables advanced control including DME limp mode on injector faults, external wastegate control, and full management of port injection and auxiliary outputs (WGDC, fuel pumps, nitrous, etc.). Once flashed, all tuning adjustments can be made directly within the DME.
7. Cold Start per Map Slot:
   Allows independent cold start noise reduction settings per map slot.
8. No Lift Shift (Manual Vehicles):
   Perform full-throttle gear changes without lifting off the accelerator for faster shifts and improved acceleration.
9. Custom TCU Limiter Removal:
   Remove transmission torque limits while maintaining OEM safety systems and launch control.
10. KnockCEL:
    Allows tuners to configure the CEL to flash when timing corrections exceed defined thresholds.
11. MHD MaxCool:
    Activates a dedicated cooling strategy to reduce oil, coolant, and intake temperatures, ideal for track or staging conditions. How it works: Activates fan operation, lowers coolant targets to approx. 72°C, engages the electronic thermostat, and sets water pumps to high-performance cooling mode. Activation: Via the MHD Live menu → MHD+ Live Adjust → Max Cooling (active until disabled or engine off).

12. MHD Real-Time Tuning:
    Enables live editing of all tuning tables (including map switching, flex fuel, and ReFlex tables) while the engine is running, without requiring reflashes.

Monitor License:
Monitor engine performance in real time with a configurable display supporting up to 8 gauges. Over 50 engine parameters are available and logged in the background. Logs can be exported as CSV files for analysis using the built-in log viewer. Log review support is also available.

Available parameters include:
Boost, boost target, AFR (lambda), intake air temperature, ignition timing per cylinder, coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, transmission temperature, HPFP, throttle position, wastegate duty cycle, RPM, speed, EGT and more. Advanced parameters such as timing corrections, boost targets, and torque limits may also be available depending on ECU software.

Full TCU Logging (S58):
Advanced 8HP transmission logging allows monitoring of clutch states, solenoid currents (pressure estimation), torque converter slip, clutch slip, and more. This data is essential for diagnosing transmission behaviour and optimising performance. TCU logging runs alongside DME logging.

All MHD OTS Maps:
A wide selection of OTS maps is included for the S58 engine, supporting various hardware setups and fuel types. These maps have been extensively tested on road and dyno.

Important Information:
MHD WiFi Adapter is included!

Vehicles with the latest BMW software may require a DME bench unlock (use the MHD Unlock Check function in the app to verify)

Vehicles produced after 06/2020 require a FEMTO or AutoTuner unlock due to updated tuning protection

Once unlocked, MHD will automatically detect the DME. Latest unlocks support full MHD+ functionality for both EU and USA vehicles
